Selena Gomez: Bigger Than Justin Bieber?!?

Selena Gomez is more popular than Justin Bieber these days. Unlike the guilt of Casey Anthony, this is a fact.
Gomez has jumped past her boyfriend to claim the number-one spot on Billboard's Social 50 list, a ranking that considers the "most active artists on the world’s leading social networking sites... using a formula blending weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays," according to the company behind it.
Bieber does come in at number-two on the list, at least. Let's take a look at the top five, shall we?
  1. Selena Gomez
  2. Justin Bieber
  3. Michael Jackson
  4. Lady Gaga
  5. Shakira
Perhaps Selena owes Justin a comforting foot massage now. No matter which order they are in, though, it's clear: this couple owns the Internet.

Before They Go Green At...Daytona International Speedway

Since 1959, the summer race at Daytona International Speedway has often marked the unofficial start of the second half of the NASCAR Sprint Cup season.
Fans and prognosticators have a gauge of which racers are definite contenders to the ones who still have some homework to do between now and Richmond, VA in September.
Certainly, the one thing that'll be on every racer's mind for tonight's Coke Zero 400 presented by Coca-Cola at Daytona (Live on TNT at 7:30 PM EST) will be the two-car tandems. Large trains of at least three or more cars in a drafting pack are extinct given the aerodynamics of the cars and the new pavement of the 2.5-mile track.
Drafting is still a critical and important aspect of racing around this mammoth of a high speed track, as drivers will pair up with a teammate or off-track friend to make their way towards the lead pack. Usually, you'll see these tandems work together all race long, backing off the lead pack occasionally to cool down their motors.
After regrouping themselves, these pairings work together to make their way back up to the front, which doesn't take nearly as long as it would in the old drafting system. During the days of the huge, 20-30 car packs, one wrong move would result in the lead cars passing by with relative ease.
In other words, that driver would get "freight trained" or "hung out to dry," which still happens but only if that racer loses their dance partner on the track.
During last night's Nationwide race, the two car tango was illustrated perfectly. Open wheel talent Danica Patrick worked the early portions of the Subway Jalapeno 250 with 1997 IndyCar champion Tony Stewart to grab the race lead. Her confidence grew so much that even when Stewart elected to work with Elliott Sadler for the remainder of the 250-miler, she was able to get drafting help from teammate Aric Almirola.
While it's a racer's tendency to be at the front all race long, when it comes to racing at Daytona, being the leader prior to the last lap is probably the worst place to be at during the closing stages. Simply put, it'd be akin to a matador and the bull, although in NASCAR parlance, it'd be 41 other hungry hounds chasing after you under the Daytona Beach night skies.
For those who want the big Hollywood-like crashes, while they still happen at the larger tracks, they just don't include quite as many cars as in the past. However, that doesn't mean that marquee names like Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson are immune to these accidents, as they were swept up in an early race crash during this year's Daytona 500.

With a good, fast car as well as efficient pit stops and stellar drafting strategy from a teammate or friend all race long, those will pave the way to a rousing win at Daytona. If all those ingredients truly hold together, tonight's winner will have earned their money's worth at Daytona after 400 miles.

Tour de France: Brit hope Mark Cavendish chasing glory and Olympic gold

MANX missile Mark Cavendish will be chasing more than a green jersey and Olympic gold when he embarks on the ultimate test of endurance today.
Sprint king Cavendish’s team boss Brian Holm believes the Isle of Man rider is good enough to break Eddy Merckx’s record of 34 Tour de France stage wins.
After breasting the tape 15 times in the last three years, Cavendish has become the man the peloton fears in a bunch sprint finish.

And when the 98th Tour – 21 stages covering 2,132 miles in three weeks – sets off along the tidal causeway from the Isle of Noirmoutier to Mont des Alouettes on the Atlantic coast today, Cavendish knows he will be a marked man again.
Pipped to the green jersey last year by Italy’s Alessandro Petacchi, and controversially by Norway’s Thor Hushovd in 2009, the next 12 months could turn Cavendish into a superstar. He is looking to complete a hat-trick of triumphant sprint finishes up the Champs Elysees in Paris on July 24, and next year he could land Team GB’s first 2012 Olympic gold medal in the men’s cycle road race, which finishes with a dash up another of Europe’s most iconic boulevards, The Mall.
Cavendish, 26, said: “If you offered me the green jersey on the Tour de France or a gold medal in next year’s Olympic road race, which would I choose? Easy – both. My job is to win.
“That’s not asking a lot, it’s realistic. I’ve got a good chance, I’ll give it my best shot and it doesn’t make me a failure if I don’t get either of them.
“Cycling is getting bigger in Britain, I’m happy to be part of the sport’s growth, and it’s up to other people to decide whether cycling gets the recognition it deserves here now.
“I didn’t pursue a career in cycling for fame, or to make a pile of money, I do it because I love the sport. It was nice to be shortlisted for Sports Pesonality of the Year, but you can’t get bitter about not making the top three – that’s just how it is.
“Professional cycling is not a popularity contest, and I don’t ride hundreds of miles every week to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
“Three years ago, in a year when I won four stages on the Tour, they devoted four seconds of a two-hour programme to cycling, and I did say afterwards that each of those seconds was like a dagger in my back. But that was not a reflection on the general public, that was the BBC’s fault.
“This year, when they interviewed me [as one of the 10 shortlisted nominees] they asked me about f****** chess – what’s that got to do with my sport?
“The other guys got asked about being a 15-times world champion or whatever, I got asked about chess. Maybe they don’t give a s*** about cycling, don’t ask me why.
“But I guess they don’t take much interest in a guy who’s won 15 stages of the Tour because they don’t show cycling, they don’t promote it.”
Holm, sports director for HTC-Highroad, for whom Cavendish has been such a consistent performer on flat stages which favour his explosive power more than gruelling Alpine climbs, said: “Mark is already a legend.
“I would love him to beat Eddy Merckx’s record, and in racing terms he is only just starting out. He has already won 15 stages, so that is going to be a close one.”
Defending champion Alberto Contador, booed at the opening ceremony by sceptical fans after a failed dope test, is favourite to land his fourth yellow jersey in five years.

Presenting the Porsche 911 GT3 Snowmobile by Magnat

It seems that not even the mighty Porsche 911 GT3 is safe from tuners that want to create something that differs from the norm. The German tuning specialist from Magnat have tuned the track-focused version of the 911 into what they call the 'Snowmobile', a name that is derived from the color combination that’s been applied to both the exterior and interior.

There’s nothing special about a white paintjob these days, as it’s the most widespread tone for those looking to stand out. With so many white tuning jobs being shown, cars are beginning to look like ambulances, so Magnat has added an off-centered black stripe that stretches from one end to the other along with decals above the side sills.

The exterior look is also enhanced by the 19 inch OZ Ultraleggera HLT CT rims wrapped in Yokohama Advan Sport tires (size 235/35-19 and 305/30-19).

Moving to the interior, Magnat re-did the 911 GT3’s spartan interior using a plush mix of black Alcantara and leather materials with white colored stitching and trim accents. We don’t exactly agree with the Stuttgart sporscar maker’s weigh-loss regime being made obsolete by added luxury.

Worst of all, Magnet has added it’s own audio system that provides 2,100 watts of sound power, so the driver won’t want to focus on the sound of that metallic flat-six. The system comprises of the Magnat Black Core 5 channel amplifier, Magnat Selection series loud speakers, 1 inch textile tweeters, a subwoofer casing with a 10 inch woofer.

Thankfully, the tuner also gave the GT3 more power by playing with the ECU and adding a new sports exhaust. As a result, the Snowmobile has 462 hp to play with, which has bumped the top speed to 317 Km/h (197 mph).

4 Ways to Use Less Paper at Your Business

If you look in the trash can or – let’s hope — recycling bins at many businesses, you’ll probably find a ton of paper. Paper is one of the most common waste products at most businesses, and thus one of the biggest sustainability opportunities many small businesses have.
Cutting down on paper waste isn’t as easy as you’d think. For one thing, paper itself is relatively cheap, so business owners might feel like there’s little economic incentive to reduce it. Moreover, it’s hard to change perception that paper use has little environmental impact. But that’s not true: Recycling 1 ton of paper can save 7,000 gallons of water and enough energy to power the average U.S. home for six months, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Reducing paper use in the first place, then, can save a lot more.
Cutting down on paper waste should be viewed as high priority on your sustainability checklist, just like saving energy or reducing water use.  Here are four ways small businesses can cut down on their paper use.
1. Use printers that allow for double-sided printing. You can halve the amount of paper used by printing documents on both sides of paper. Some laser printers offer double-sided or “duplex” printing as a standard feature so you can easily set it up through your computer’s printer option features as the default mode. Others make it more tedious or impossible. Check into this capability before purchasing a new printer.
2. Repurpose used paper into notepads. Despite your best efforts, odds are you still have plenty of paper printed on one side that goes to waste. Collect this paper over time and turn it into small notepads for scratch paper. Many copy shops and office supply stores offer this service for less than a dollar per notepad, or you can bind them yourself by purchasing padding compound.
3. Cut down on junk mail. Junk mail to businesses accounts for a huge amount of needless paper waste. There are several strategies for stopping junk mail from being delivered to a business, which we’ve outlined before.
4. Go “paperless.” More businesses that traditionally rely on lots of paper for transactional purposes are finding ways to greatly reduce it. Some mortgage lenders, for instance, now put loan documents on jump drives and allow for electronic signatures to avoid printing out dozens of pages. Other businesses make PDFs of documents they want to save electronically rather than printing them out.
Of course, you still need paper for various things. So when you do buy paper products for your business, look for paper with a high post-consumer recycled content, such as 60 percent or even 100 percent.  This greatly reduces the number of trees cut down, gallons of water used and amount of carbon dioxide emitted to make that paper.

'Jurassic Park 4' Still A Probable Reality

Jurassic Park and Steven Spielberg fans rejoice! There's still hope for a fourth film in the dinosaur franchise, according to theHollywood Reporter anyway.

While this is not the first time it's been reported that Spielberg was working on Jurassic Park 4, the latest story sounds rather promising. At the moment, the director is getting set for the fall launch of his new show, Terra Nova, which also happens to be all about dinos. With prehistoric animals on his mind, it appears that Spielberg is ready to turn J4 into a reality.

But don't get too excited. Neither Spieberg, nor Universal -- which released the trilogy -- have made any serious move to find or write a script. Rather, the gray haired director has been "exploring" ideas for a story with screenwriter Mark Protosevich.

From a pure money making perspective, it would be silly not to release a fourth film. The three prior films have collectively grossed well over a billion dollars. And in an age of comic book movies, it would be freshing and fun to see some dinosaur stomping awesomeness. No?

Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks

Cleveland didn't quite win a championship last night when Dallas defeated LeBron James and the Miami Heat, but Dallas stepped up in rallying from a 2-1 series deficit to deny LeBron a title.

While Clevelanders might have found it difficult to root for the likes of Boston and Chicago earlier in the playoffs, it was no problem spending the last 13 days embracing the blue-clad, German-led Dallas Mavericks.

Now's your chance to thank your new second-favorite team in the comments below for preventing what many thought was an improbable march to a championship. Tell Dirk, Jason (Terry and Kidd), JJ Barea, Tyson Chandler - even DeShawn Stevenson - and all the rest of the Mavericks thanks for making sure that we didn't need to watch LeBron James hoist that trophy.

Tips membuat internet anda super cepat

1. Klik Start
2. Klik Run
3. Ketik gpedit.msc
4. Kemudian klik Ok
5. Setelah masuk klik (buka) Administrative Templates
6. Kemudian klik (buka) Network
7. Setelah terbuka klik QoS Packet scheduler
8. Kemudian klik Limit Reservable Bandwidth
9. Dan setelah terbuka ubah setting menjadi Enable
10. Kemudian ubah Bandwidth Limitnya menjadi 0
11. Klik Apply, dan terus Ok

Apple iPhone 5 New Technologies Like Intel’s Thunderbolt are Hot Topics

Perhaps one of the most widely speculated hardware changes for the new iPhone 5 may be an improvement added recently to the new iPad 2. The technology is refered to as a thunderbolt port.
The data port, developed by Intel, is a quantum lead forward over USB port technology. The thunderbolt port was added to the iPad 2 because of its much faster data transfer rate over USB 2 technology currently widespread on computers and other devices.
In response to Intel’s thunderbolt, USB 3.0 is being released. The USB 3.0 is still a little slower than tuhunderbolt, however it reportedly consumes less power. The addition of thunderbolt to the iPhone 5 may not be great news for some consumers.
Apple has come a long way in terms of making their way into the hearts and pockets of mainstream users, after a long time playing to a smaller niche of techies. If USB 3.0 gets out to the market in time, the addition of thunderbolt may throw up a wall of separation again in the eyes of consumers as thunderbolt is compatible with only 0.1% of the devices available today.

Overview of electric cars

The newest generation of electric cars is a good match for the current generation of gas and/or diesel powered cars. The development is fast. With newest generation of Lio-Ion batteries and powerful electric motors these cars can be used for daily people and goods transports, have enough range and are faster than their fossil powered brothers. Therefore I have decided to create (and maintain) an overview of these new generation of electric cars.

Prototypes

Promising prototypes which can really drive (no mockups). Either developed by enthusiastic pioneers or first tests of existing car manufacturers. There is a change that these make it to commercial production. Price $255,000

Audi A7 Sportback wins outstanding design award

By Oladunjoye Phillip, Snr. Correspondent, Lagos

The five-door Audi A7 Sportback coupé has been selected the winner of the “Auto Build” Design Summit. According to Audi, a distinguished jury panel evaluated the design of a total of ten new cars in which the Audi A7 Sportback was voted number one by a wide margin for its outstanding design.
Audi noted that recognised design experts such as James Kelly, who heads the Transportation Design Department at Pforzheim University, expressed high praise for the large coupé. “The design of the Audi A7 Sportback was the best in the group by far. The low tail section is especially impressive! I’d buy it immediately,” Kelly had said.
Similarly, Othmar Wickenheiser, Professor of Transportation Design at Munich University of Applied Sciences, also praised the car’s styling: “An absolutely harmonious design concept, unembellished flanks, sinewy shoulders, streamlined sides – perfect.”
Audi said well-known architect and design critic Hans-Ulrich von Mende and Prof. Paolo Tumminelli of the International School of Design in Cologne also selected the Audi A7 Sportback as the winner in a list of categories including proportions, styling, innovation, haptics and quality.
“We are extremely pleased with this achievement – to be selected by a jury of such experts in the field of design. The award confirms the outstanding position of the Audi A7 Sportback within the competitive field, and the excellent response from our customers confirms the appeal of this car,” said Stefan Sielaff, Head of Audi Design, noting that with aesthetic athletics and elegance on a grand scale, Audi again emphasises design with the A7 Sportback.
He explained that the five-door coupé measures 4.97 metres (16.31 ft) long and 1.91 metres (6.27 ft) wide, but just 1.42 metres (4.66 ft) high, adding that its long hood, sporty, flowing C-pillars and the steep drop of the rear section present a dynamic overall image.
The interior, he said, is also a testament to the meticulous attention to detail that Audi puts into building cars, noting that the quality of the craftsmanship is on a par with fine handcrafted goods. He said the senses are pampered with high quality new materials, including veneers made with a laminated-wood technique, options, he noted, include ambient lighting that highlights the interior, adding that options available for the front seat include ventilation and massage features, while another option allows the contours of the lateral support in the seat and backrest to be individually adjusted.
He explained that Audi delivers the A7 Sportback with one of four powerful and cultivated V6 engines – two petrol-powered and two diesel-powered, and have a capacity of between 150 kW (204 hp) and 220 kW (300 hp), and their efficiency sets the standard in this class of vehicle.
He said the new 3.0 TDI with 150 kW (204 hp), which would be available for order at a later date, has a multitronic transmission, which uses an average of just 5.3 litres of fuel per 100 km (44.38 mpg) – the CO2 emissions of just 139 grams per km (223.70 g/mile) is groundbreaking, adding that all engines work with a recuperation system, thermal management and a start-stop system.

Michael Douglas' ex revives NYC bid for movie cash

The clash between Michael Douglas and his ex-wife over his "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" earnings is back for another, nastier run in a New York court.
Lawyers for both sides traded barbs Tuesday over Diandra Douglas' continuing efforts to get half the Academy Award-winning actor's take from the 2010 movie.
A New York judge threw out her lawsuit in November, saying the dispute belonged in California, where the couple divorced in 2000 after 23 years together. Her lawyers asked the judge Tuesday to reconsider.
With Diandra Douglas looking on, the actor's lawyer noted his recent fight with throat cancer and said his ex "should be ashamed of herself" for seeking more money when she's gotten more than $51 million from him in the divorce and her stake in some earnings afterward. Her lawyers, meanwhile, mentioned his recent purchase of a $5 million-plus home near New York and his children's private schools.
Leaving court, Diandra Douglas lamented the "mudslinging" she felt was directed at her.
"I've always behaved as a lady, and I always intend to do so in the future," she said. "I think the facts speak for themselves."
Michael Douglas wasn't at court. His lawyer, Marilyn B. Chinitz, said his former wife's claim was meritless, and "she ought to get the message and move on."
The couple's lengthy, multimillion-dollar divorce deal gives Diandra Douglas a share of proceeds from projects related to work the actor did when they were married.
She says that should include last year's follow-up to "Wall Street," the 1987 Oliver Stone film that won Michael Douglas an Oscar for his portrayal of an era-encapsulating financier who declared that "greed is good." The actor's camp says the divorce agreement doesn't apply to the second "Wall Street," which wasn't on the horizon when the couple split. Released in September, it grossed more than $100 million worldwide.
The divorce pact also specified that future money disputes would be resolved in Santa Barbara, Calif., and California courts are best suited to handle the mix of entertainment and state-specific divorce laws enmeshed in the deal, Manhattan state Supreme Court Judge Matthew F. Cooper wrote in his November decision.
But Diandra Douglas wants to pursue her claim in New York. A single mother of three children under 8, she says it would be difficult for her to travel to Santa Barbara for proceedings in the case, though she has a home nearby. She has put it on the market for more than $20 million.
Though officially a Bermuda resident in recent years, Michael Douglas also has been based in New York lately. His ex-wife's lawyer, Nancy Chemtob, noted that he'd bought a home in suburban Bedford and can sometimes be spotted in pictures on the pages of the city's tabloids, taking his own children to their schools. He has two children with his current wife, Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.
His lawyer called it offensive to make an issue of his residency when he's been in the city to get treatment for his throat cancer.
The 66-year-old star revealed his diagnosis in August. He said in January that his tumor was gone after months of treatment, during which he lost 32 pounds.
"Mr. Douglas is cancer-stricken, tragically, and (Diandra Douglas' team) has the audacity to imply that we misled the court" by initially saying he wasn't planning to live in in New York, Chinitz said. "He stayed in New York. We all know the reasons why."
Diandra Douglas, 54, told Harper's Bazaar magazine in an interview published in March that she tried to put the case on hold after learning of her former husband's illness, but his lawyers refused. Chinitz said Tuesday that they wanted to dispense with a case they thought baseless, so the actor wouldn't have to be concerned about it.
The case has been part of a difficult period for the "Romancing the Stone" and "Basic Instinct" star. In the months before he disclosed his cancer, his and Diandra Douglas' son, Cameron, was sentenced in April 2010 to five years in federal prison for dealing methamphetamine from a trendy Manhattan hotel.
Cooper didn't immediately rule on Diandra Douglas' request to revisit his decision. She also has filed a notice that she plans to appeal to a higher court.

Emirates launching A380 flights to Shanghai

12 Apr 2011

Travellers heading to the Far East will soon be able to fly to Shanghai on the Airbus A380.

Emirates has announced that it will deploy its 489-seater superjumbo on non-stop flights from Dubai to the Chinese city on 27 April.

The new route, which is the first scheduled A380 service to Shanghai, will feature three weekly connections on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Emirates' A380 network now features three destinations in China, following the launch of flights to Beijing in August 2010 and Hong Kong two months later.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, the airline's chairman and chief executive, said: 'Emirates has enjoyed a long and successful partnership with China; we began cargo operations between Dubai and Shanghai in 2002 and then started passenger services in 2004.

'The A380 launch demonstrates our continuing commitment to this important country, in addition to boosting trade between China and Dubai, the Middle East and Africa.'

Emirates also uses the A380 on flights to Dubai from London Heathrow and Manchester, as well as routes from its Middle Eastern hub to destinations including Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
